We recommend storing your silk flat, untied and out of direct sunlight. Avoid spraying with perfume and contact with rain, water and other chemicals.

Entrust your silk to a professional dry cleaner when needed. Dry clean only (process P symbol in a circle with an underline) inside a protective net bag finishing with a cool iron.

Items purchased from our website can only be delivered to Scotland, Wales and England at this time (we regret that we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland or any other locations). Any delivery address located outside the UK, or in Northern Ireland, will be refused when placing the order. Applecross Croft will not process an order with a P.O. Box.

Delivery within the UK is £5 for our scarves.

We dispatch every few weeks. This allows for our other commitments and times when we are away from Applecross. If you need something sooner then contact us and while we cannot make any promises we will see what we can do. 

We are limited by our location with the postal services we can offer. Being in the Highlands can add days on to the delivery once items are dispatched.

We are a small independent business and we rely on the patience of our wonderful customers to allow us to operate our business alongside our crofting life.

We use Royal Mail or Parcelforce along with our local post office in order to support this vital local service.

Our shipping options are limited due to our remote location. Postal services take longer from Applecross and shipping times cannot be guaranteed due to the Zone we are sending from.

No, unfortunately our remote rural location in the Scottish Highlands adds days to the limited postal services open to us and even if we pay for next day delivery it will not be delivered the next day.

We can take up to two weeks to ship orders, this allows us to accommodate times when we are working away.

We keep a relatively small stock as we grow our business. Popular items do sell out at times. Check back online from time to time for latest availability.

Yes, add a message in the cart during check out. Look out for the box that says: "Add a note. Is this a gift? Add a short, special message for the recipient here." 

Click on the text above in the cart and you can then leave a short message that we will include with your gift.
